Celebrities are often seen as having an air of perfection. But to be honest, no one is perfect, and the stars are no different. Many embarrassing moments do happen behind the scenes in the entertainment world, though most have not been as well documented.
Screen diva and mother of two, Faithia Williams experienced this silly fate a few weeks back at a popular entertainment event in Lagos.
According to an eyewitness, though the challenge passed without general attention, Faithia’s self-worth was said to have been bruised, no doubt.
As we gathered, while Faithia and some colleagues who were invited as special guests got to the event early enough, it was amazing it appeared that the shinning actress was singled out for the sore treatment, as waiters allegedly avoided her while serving food.
At the event which had fellow Yoruba actress, Mide Funmi-Martins and English actress, Ini Edo, and others, sources said Faithia kept her calm while her colleagues and other guests were served by the hostesses, exempting her.
But as the event came to a close, we gathered, the actress could not take it anymore. She reportedly approached the drink table after she realized there was no food left. Our source claimed that Faithia emptied her anger on waiters who served drinks, allegedly asking if she was an obscure personality to have been ignored for reception.
“She was shouting on top of her voice that it was an insult on her to have been ignored while they served others. Her colleagues who were watching the scenario also supported her stand,” claimed our source.
Our efforts to reach the actress for her comments proved abortive. We spoke to two of her close aides but they did not respond to our enquiry till press time.
