Saraki Begins Job As Atiku’s  Special Envoy

Former Senate President, Dr. Abubakar Bukola Saraki who was penultimate week appointed as Special Envoy by the PDP presidential candidate, Alhaji Atiku Abubakar has started work.

He not only tweeted about his visit to the British High Commissioner, Catriona Laing in Abuja barely 48 hours after his appointment but also noted that it had to do with the upcoming general election.

‘As we prepare for #NigeriaDecides 2023, earlier today, I met with the British High Commissioner, @CatrionaLaing1

I thank the High Commissioner and her team for the warm reception that we received,  he wrote.

Former Senate President, Chief Pius Anyim, Senator Ibrahim Shekarau, former Governor Olagunsoye Oyinlola, and former Senator Ehigie Uzamere were named as Special Advisers by Atiku penultimate week while Saraki and former PDP National Chairman, Prince Uche Secondus were appointed as ‘Special Envoy’ and Technical Adviser respectively.
