The building collapse incident recorded in Ilorin , Kwara state penultimate Tuesday left an electronics engineer, Alhaji Taiye-Hassan Beki, dead.
The incident occurred at Beki family compound, Alanamu area of Ilorin .
The 52- year- old Beki, a father of four, was reportedly urinating at the back of his house when a part of the building caved in. Heavy downpour had gotten recorded in Ilorin the previous day.
He was said to have gotten trapped under the rubble for several minutes before getting rescued.
Beki was though quickly rushed to the University of Ilorin Teaching Hospital for medical attention but he eventually gave up the ghost.
He has since been buried at the Muslim Cemetery, llorin according to Islamic rites.
