Olori Badirat Olaitan Ajoke, popularly known as Queen Ola, one of the wives of the Alaafin of Oyo recently shared an obscure post on her Instastory few months after it was rumoured that she and the monarch were separated. her rumoured.

Few months ago, there was a rumour that the young Queen had allegedly been involved in infidelity and hence, was sent packing. She later came out to deny the allegation.

When the infidelity saga between them came up, individuals who were close to the palace revealed that the queen had never at any point been disloyal or unfaithful to the Alaafin, and that their marriage was very much intact.

In their words, “Olori Badirat has never been disloyal to her husband and it’s a fact that can’t be contested. It’s the work of her enemies and those who want to create unrest in the palace. To be truthful, her marriage to Alaafin is still intact. There has never been a time she was sent packing as it was circulated. She will never commit such an act knowing fully well the consequences that might follow.”

Another source revealed that it was ‘those after her success’ that were spreading the rumours.

Although she denied that her marriage with the Alaafin of Oyo has fallen apart, she was missing in the group photo Alaafin and his seven younger wives took to celebrate the last Eid-il-Kabir, thereby making the people’s assumption somewhat valid. Specifically, an inside source revealed that Olori Ola mentioned a particular fellow queen in the palace who she alleged had been her critics. Although, she was said to have claimed most of her co-oloris did not agree with her perhaps because of her outspoken lifestyle and also because the Alaafin took her as his favourite. Before the infidelity scandal broke out, Olori Badirat had boasted on her social media handle that she was the Alaafin’s ‘oxygen’.

However, months later, Queen Ola shares a post on her Instastory, saying; “divorce is okay, and breaking up is okay”. She also spoke about one not being appreciated where they are, and explains that when one is not happy or valued or appreciated, then it is not okay for such a person to remain in the relationship.

Her post reads;

”Divorce is ok. Breaking up is ok.
Starting over is ok. Moving on is ok.
Saying no is ok. Being alone is ok.
What is not ok is staying somewhere where you aren’t happy, valued or appreciated, that’s not ok.”

Queen Ola is one of the most educated and loved queens in the Oyo Palace, everyone in the palace attests to the fact that she is well cultured, trained and respectful, and has never had issues with her senior wives in the palace. She is also known to be very fervent in prayers.
