The All Progressives Congress’ Olumide Osoba, the ebullient son of former Ogun governor, Aremo Olusegun Osoba, who was just elected to represent Abeokuta North/Odeda/Obafemi-Owode federal constituency in the House of Representatives, has hit the grounds running even before the commencement of the 9th Assembly.

The easygoing lawmaker has donated a brand new 500KVA transformer to his constituents to ease the electricity challenge faced by people of Wasimi town in Obafemi Owode.

Olumode is one of Nigeria’s emerging political gladiators trying to chart a paradigm shift for the country’s vibrant democracy.

Olumide’s modest achievements and track records in the 8th Assembly is a testament to his capability and competence in public service. He is one of the few politicians with a clean slate in the schemes of national politics.

Little wonder, his constituency returned him to the National Assembly in a grand style.

The transformer gift, the lawmaker says, was a token of his gratitude in fulfilment of his electoral promises. Olumide Osoba, we gathered, has a lot more in his

kitty aimed at bringing rapid development to his constituency.
