RENOVATION: Gov. Ahmed Hails Kwara TV Management

Governor of Kwara State, Alhaji Abdulfatah Ahmed, has commended the staff and the management team of the Kwara State Television for the ongoing renovation of the state-owned station.

 

The governor, who inspected the media house last week Friday expressed his satisfaction with the repositioning of the station while commending the State’s commissioner for information, Alhaji Mahmud Ajeigbe, sole administrator, Dr Muyideen Akorede and the entire management of KWTV for the quality of works done.

 

While taking the governor round the station,Dr. Akorede said that the repositioning was being carried out in consonance with current realities and industry trends, thereby positioning Kwara TV as a pride among its peers in the industry.

 

Also speaking, Alhaji Ajeigbe, noted that the foreign exchange difficulty and delayed customs clearing have been major challenges to the delivery of the new, state of the art equipment.

 

Governor Ahmed, while speaking to journalists later, said, the decision to reposition the state media houses is in line with his governmen’s bid to improve efficiency and effectiveness in service delivery, stressing that the station will be ready in time for Digital Switch Over(DSO).
