Famous Nigerian prophet, Primate Elijah Ayodele, has asked Nigerians to pray unto God to avert future disaster regarding the country’s socio-economic state.
The servant of God warned in a statement from his media office that the current sorry state of Nigeria’s economy would lead to violent protests whereby the citizens would resort to stoning state governors.
Ayodele added in the divine message that petrol would be unavailable and citizens would officially buy it for N300 per liter while diesel would be sold officially for N1, 000.
“Government at all levels finding it difficult to pay workers’ salaries. The impending economic disaster would see Nigerians buying diesel for N1000 per litre and petrol for N300 per litre. It will be so bad that Nigeria will revert to the days of austerity measures. The country will be in such a big financial mess that some state governments will not be able to pay their workers. Governors and Honourables will be stoned and there will be protests. Even the police will go on strike if care is not taken and the Buhari government might be shut down for hours due to protests,” Ayodele stated.
The cleric added that “there will be a serious food crisis. Food and security crisis will become a big problem in Nigeria any moment from now. The high cost of food stuff and the eventual shortage of food will become the order of the day in Nigeria.”
