There are nine House of Representatives seat in Osun State and the last election in 2015 produced seven APC reps members while the PDP got two. The two PDP reps members are Hon. Albert Adeogun of Ife federal constituency and Hon. Wole Oke of Oriade/ Obokun federal constituency. It is no longer news that the PDP has been facing crisis for months now and currently factionalized. There are two factions within the party; one is led by Senator Ahmed Makarfi while the other faction is led by Senator Ali Modu Sheriff. The gist here is the seeming agreement by the two reps members in Osun State to pick one of the factions. While Wole Oke belongs to the Sherrif’s faction; Adeogun is one of the principal faces in the Makarfi’s faction.
