One week after donating the sum of N5 billion to his daughter, DJ Cuppy Foundation, Femi Otedola has finally revealed why he spends like there’s no tomorrow.
On November 10, 2019, at the launch of the DJ Cuppy Foundation at the Transcorp Hilton in Abuja, Femi Otedola donated N5 billion; and this with no doubt also became the first single largest donation to philanthropy in Nigeria.
In a recent interview, Femi Otedola who is business magnate and billionaire mentioned that no one will leave this earth with their financial acquisition.
Now speaking to the media on why he made such a huge donation to the Cuppy Foundation, Otedola who urged his fellow money men to spend always, had this to say;
“A lot of people think when they die, they take their money with them, we’ll see.
In my journey of life, I have taken the risk, I’ve done the chase.
I’ve enjoyed the thrill and I have achieved success and recognition.
What next? You give it back,” he said.
The prominent Nigerian billionaire business mogul took to his social media platform, Instagram, to flaunt his luxurious office couple of months ago.
Otedola recently returned to Nigeria after embarking on a vacation with his family.
“The first day back at work after my #Gelato vacation,” he wrote as the caption for the video.
