Vice Chairman, House of Representatives Committee on Pensions, Hon. Bamidele Salam, has taken steps to effectively address public pension issues. Salam represents Ede North,South/Egbedero/Ejigbo Federal Constituency Osun state .
The steps taken by the federal lawmaker will help to facilitate identification, documentation and resolution of issues surrounding Pension payments.
Global Excellence learned Bamidele Salam has launched what he tagged ‘Pensioners’ Complaints Portal’ on his personal website.
The portal is designed to receive vital information about challenges of pension payment from Federal Pensioners who are under the Defined Benefits Scheme and the Contributory Pension Scheme.
Information received via the portal will consequently get documented and processed for speedy resolution.
‘The Complaints Portal can be accessed on https://www.bamidelesalam.com/pension-complaints/. Persons who are ICT compliant are enjoined to assist pensioners around them who are unable to upload information by themselves, but desire to lodge complaints via this portal. Pensioners will be contacted to confirm information uploaded.
Federal Pensioners under the Defined Benefits Scheme are also to note that they can contact the Pension Transitional Arrangement Directorate (PTAD) via the toll free line 0800-2255-7823 to lodge their complaints,’ the federal lawmaker stated.
