Osun State PDP has reacted and declared as misguided the legal action instituted by the APC through party members; Akinwale Olaniyi and Akinjide Monsuru on Friday,   challenging the continued stay of Senator Ademola Adeleke’s as representative of the Osun West in the senate, submitting that it will not result in anything positive. The state  PDP Chairman, Hon. Olasoji Adagunodo said the fresh step taken by the APC  was not just a waste of time but an abuse of court process. ‘Two courts of competent jurisdiction and an Appellate Court have ruled on the issue of eligibility in favour of Senator Nurudeen Ademola Adeleke and this latest efforts can be described as  ‘Forum Shopping and Abuse of Court process’. I wish to put it to those involved in this latest act of misdemeanor wherever they are to reflect and look back at their past efforts which have failed them.  They should remember that they have been on this since 2017 when Senator Nurudeen Ademola Adeleke was nominated as the  PDP Senatorial candidate and they have failed on every occasion and they will continue to fail because they are fighting a man that has been ordained  by God to be Senator and governor’ he said.

While assuring the people of  Osun State, the PDP   supporters and the  lovers of  Senator Nurudeen Ademola Adeleke home and abroad that the court process initiated  on Friday   came courtesy of  a defeated, opposition and failed political party, Hon. Adagunodo,   added that the desperation on the part of the ruling party  has shown  that  the party failed at the polls at the various court cases instituted by them  and  that they will continue to fail in all their attempts. The chairman also spiced it with a message of hope that what he referred to as acts of persecution against the senator will naturally end once he is sworn in as governor, he therefore, urged the  people of the state  to continue to pray and ask God  to grant   the PDP and  Senator Nurudeen Ademola Adeleke judicial victory in the remaining court processes.
