Former Deputy Governor of Osun State, Senator Iyiola Omisore, and a former member of the House of Representatives, Hon. Rotimi Makinde, have condoled with the Governor of Osun State, Ogbeni Rauf Aregbesola, over the death of his mother.
Senator Omisore, in a condolence message issued by his media office, noted that the late Alhaja Saratu Aregbesola was a devoted Muslim who lived a life worthy of emulation.
“I commiserate with the Governor of Osun State, Ogbeni Rauf Aregbesola, on the death of his mother, Alhaja Saratu Aregbesola. I extend deepest sympathy and pray that the Almighty Allah grants her His peace.”

Also, Makinde, who represented Ife Constituency, extended his deepest condolence to Governor Aregbesola and the entire family on the death of their matriarch. Makinde urged the Aregbesola family “to take solace in the believe that Alhaja Aregbesola has gone away from the troubles of this world to rest for eternity in God’s bosom.”
The former deputy governor, Omisore, stressed that “the late Alhaja Aregbesola will be greatly missed by her children and many others as mothers are the foundation of all the success we achieve in our lives.”
Omisore prayed that Allah grants the late Alhaja Aregbesola eternal rest and give all her children the fortitude to bear the loss.

Makinde, in his message, noted that “I have never seen Ogbeni Rauf Aregbesola in this type of mood. He was yet to overcome the shock of losing a close uncle of his, Dr. Olu Abiola, when this happened to him again. His mother is probably one of the closest to his heart. I sincerely wish him at this time all the best and comfort of God.”
“It is most unfortunate that the cold hands of death has snatched away Alhaja Saratu Aregbesola at the prime of her life, when her knowledge and wisdom would have been needed most by her immediate family and the society at large. My heartfelt sympathy goes to Governor Rauf Aregbesola and his family at this trying period, although we know that only God can comfort him.”
