Olumide Osoba, the returning House of Representatives elect for Abeokuta North/Odeda/Obafemi-Owode federal constituency in the just concluded National Assembly elections has heaped praises on his constituents for their massive show of support during his electioneering campaign.
The son of former Ogun state governor, Aremo Olusegun Osoba was particularly thankful to the people of his constituency for their loyalty and unflinching support which culminated in his eventual triumph. Olumide’s victory was a clear statement to the unprogressive elements that power truly belong to the people. It is also a clear message that light would always triumph over darkness.
The All Progressives Congress, APC, Rep-elect defeated Micky Kazzim of Allied Peoples Movement, APM by polling 33, 538 votes to secure his return to the green chamber. In a related development, the federal lawmaker who was a member of the immediate past House of Representatives has expressed optimism about APC’s victory in the Ogun state gubernatorial election.
He is of the opinion that the winning trend of the APC in the last Presidential/National Assembly elections would be wrapped up with Dapo Abiodun’s victory. He also expressed gratitude to his constituency for delivering for the APC guber candidate.
