Losing a job is one of the most stressful life experiences. So, it’s normal to feel angry, hurt, depressed, scared and anxious about what the future holds.
A Nigerian born international footballer is said to have lost his club and the situation is fast changing him and rocking his sense of purpose and self-esteem.
The said soccer star hails from a Southwest State, Nigeria and was formerly the midfielder for a neighbouring country’s national team.
As we gathered, the footballer who later moved to Tunisia where he made the country’s national team proud and picked up his third African Champions League medal suddenly lost his membership of the football club. Sources said that before he moved to Tunisia, he had an altercation with the African country’s chief coach which promptly earned him suspension from the team.
The source said that for the footballer, the depression occasioned by the loss seemed overwhelming and this has caused him to start doing many things he ordinarily should not do as a star to take control of the situation and maintain his spirits.
These days, the ex-footballer who has reportedly relocated to his native state allegedly attends parties and visits night clubs where he regularly drinks to stupor, all to beat the stress.
