As British Nigerian Anthony Joshua shocked the world by clinching the world heavy weight champion title, another promising British track and field sprint young athlete, Ojie Edoburun is warming up an historic outing at the forthcoming IAAF championship in Wembly, London.

It was gathered that Ojie Edoburun whose mum is a fashion entrepreneur in Nigeria based in the United Kingdom is currently the world youth silver medalist for the 100m race.

The fast-rising sprint star is also the European junior champion of the 100m race and was indeed in the spotlight at the Rio Olympics last summer.

Ojie who is the second Briton in History to run twice under 10secs in same day came close second at a heat in Clermont Florida with 9.93 last month in preparatory to the World Championship later this year.

At 20, he remains one of the youngest British fast-rising sprint dukes as build- up to the world champs in Strarford in August.

Insiders divulged that Ojie is a passionate and disciplined sprinter who at the pace of his training is a legend in the making in that track and field sprints.

However, as Usian bolt bows out after the world champions, Ojie will be gearing up to take over the winning streak in the nearest future.

He will be at an advantage this August as he will be competing on the home soil with the crowd cheering him to victory in the 100m singles and relay races.
