Respected Prophet of God, Primate Elijah Babatunde Ayodele, has said that irrespective of who runs the country’s football house and team from next year, God told him that the Nigerian Super Eagles will qualify for the finals of 2019 Africa Cup of Nations coming up in Cameroon.
Ayodele, the founder of INRI Evangelical Spiritual Church located at Oke-Afa, Isolo, Lagos, while receiving the team of Nigeria Boxing Board of Control, NBBC, led by its president, Dr. Rafiu Ladipo, two weeks ago, prophesied that, despite the football team’s poor start in the group qualifying fixtures, God says it will qualify for the 2019 matches’ final.
Besides, the top cleric added that the team will also qualify for the 2018 FIFA World Cup matches to be hosted in Russia.
Dr. Ladipo, it was gathered, led the NBBC board members and sports Supporters Club to Ayodele’s church headquarters to honour him as the Life Patron of the NBBC, a honour Rafiu said was long overdue given Ayodele’s spiritual support culminating in several successes the nation’s sports and supporters club have regularly recorded.
The NBBC team’s visit coincided with the Sunday service and the ceremony saw both the congregation, board members and the supporters club members go into wild jubilation with dance and praises inside the Church’s headquarters.
Speaking while eulogising Ayodele, Ladipo said the honour accorded the servant of God was well deserved, as he has always supported the nation’s sports spiritually resulting in many feats.
“We decided to make Primate Ayodele our Life Patron because he has been with us in thick and thin. He has always prayed for our success. In 1994 when the Super Eagles won the Nations Cup and we got to the second round of the World Cup in the USA, he predicted our success and it came to pass.
“We also need to let the world know that all our successes as supporters club has been made possible by him through his prayers and predictions.
“For the past 20 years he has supported us whenever we are in difficulty for our national teams to win matches. We need prayers at the NBB of C and that’s why we decided again to embark on this journey to make the Primate our Life Patron. For us to move forward at NBB of C, we need his spiritual guidance.
Speaking while accepting the gesture, Primate Ayodele said he was overwhelmed, pledging to do his best to lift boxing in Nigeria.
“It’s a privilege. I don’t know what to say. I pray God gives me the power and strength to meet everybody’s expectation. I am going to do my best to ensure that boxing moves forward in Nigeria. And I believe God that in the nearest future Nigeria will produce a boxer that can win the World title.”
Primate Ayodele is renowned for releasing accurate prophecies that cover all spheres of human life, a divine gift that regularly earns him local and international attention.
Two of his very recent successes are the CCT acquittal of Nigerian Senate President, Bukola Saraki, and the death of a former Nigerian coach, which Ayodele prophesied early this year.
The man of God has, however, warned that Saraki, whom he said has brighter political future, should watch out for more political turbulences, urging him to be closer to God in order to overcome them.
