NAYA Visits Osun Governor, Hints on Investment Partnership

The president of Nigerian Association for Youth and Adults in Canada (NAYA), Shola Agboola and his team were welcomed by his Imperial Majesty, Oba Adekunle Omoloye, the Oyagbodun the second, during a courtesy visit at Erin Osun, Osun state on Wednesday 1st of May 2019.

The reason for the visit was to strengthen the ties between NAYA and Osun communities. Also present at the the palace during the courtesy visit was Alhaji Hassan, who is the president, Erin Osun progressives Union and a cross section of other dignitaries.

 

In his welcome address, the President of NAYA, Agboola said, ”Our organization is making effort to attract free donation of medical supplies and educational resource material across different parts of Nigeria. We are also making effort to attract investors to Nigeria and the opportunities that abound for foreign and local inventors in the country. The large opportunity of collaborating with California congressional caucus delegation and the international Black Chamber Commerce to increase the confidence and credibility which US investors will hear on NAYA’s efforts to bring actual investment to Nigeria and many more”

 

In his response, Oba Adekunle welcomed NAYA’s team and appreciate them for their kind gesture to move his communities and the country forward at large.

 

NAYA’s team and other guests later moved to the community Hall where they were entertained with artistic displays.

 

The President of Erin progressives Union, Alhaji Hassan also welcomed the idea of NAYA, saying, the communities are looking forward in walking hand in hand with them so as to move the community forward.

One of the strongest members of NAYA based in Nigeria, His Eminence, Arch Bishop Samson Mustapha Benjamin, Promised the community to adopt a talented female gold medalist weight lifter, Mutiat Adewale that NAYA is also taking her to the United states of America with immediate effect.

NAYA also had a press conference with the Osun State group of journalists, Nigeria Association Of Women Journalist (NAWOJ), Osun State council on Thursday 2nd of May 2019, packaged and organized by Jumoke Ibrahim who is a freelance broadcaster at OSBC, where NAYA’s team also also showcased what they have achieved through their NGO to people and some communities, as they also promised to affect osun state positively.

 

Guests at the press conference were Baba Adini of Nigeria, Alhaji Razak Adeleke and some royal fathers such as Oba kilani Adekeye the Oloyan of Oyan, Oba Abdul Rasheed Olabomi Aragbiji of Iragbiji, Oba Abdul Rauf Adewale Adedeji, Akirun of Ikirun, Oba Munirudeen Adesola Gbadamosi, Laminisa 1 Timi of Edeland, Oba Adekunle Oyeyemi Asamu Tewogbade 1 Oloba of Oba Ile, HRH Oba Jimoh Olanipekun Lanroye 1 Ataoja of Oshogbo, HIM oba Abdulwhaab Oyetunji Bibiire 1 Orangun of ila, HRM Oba Adeyemi Adeniran Atipa Owaji II, Esa oke, and many others.

However, NAYA’s team also proceeded to Osun state governor’s office on a courtesy visit on the same day to Governor Gboyega Oyetola to unveil their mission to work together with his government by bringing more investors from the United state of America for the growth of Osun State.

The Deputy Governor, Benedict Adegboyega who stood in for the governor who was away on official trip, said in his remarks that, they have accepted NAYA’s proposal and they are ready and waiting for their investors from the United States of America for proper meeting.

In conclusion, one of the loyal partners of NAYA in Canada, Alhaji Razak Adeleke who’s also a member but based in Nigeria hosted the group to a dinner party at Leassure Spring Hotel GRA, ikeja on Friday May 3rd 2019, where Nollywood stars also attended.
