Naija FM 101.1 Radio London and Naijatv Sky 590 London will mark five years of direct operations and transmission of programmes direct from Nigeria/Africa to UK/Europe and the rest of the world live with programmes that border on the Nigerian economy, politics, security, education, religion, culture, entertainment etc. to Nigerians in diaspora. The live programme started five years ago in Nigeria with crew of double Chief, Akin Williams as the head of operation Africa for Naija fm, TV London; a senior media practitioner, who has worked in various media capacities on editorial level. Come December 17, 2017, the Nigerian Crew will be celebrating the 5th year anniversary event at the Guessmate Voyage Hotel, Oregun, Lagos. The event will feature awards presentation to deserving staff; past and present and personalities who have stood by the station. According to Chief Akin Williams, the host and Prince Abiodun Adeyemi, the Coordinator, “We are officially unveiling Naija FM/TV London to Nigerians to give awards to deserving people and entertain our numerous listeners, friends and families with different artistes to add flavour to the event which will be annually organized in Nigeria and London. The event starts by 2.00pm. The Chairman of the event is Dr. M.A. Dominic, Medical Director, Santa Maria Hospital, Egan in Alimosho Local Government Area in Lagos, supported by Dr. Muiz Dosumu with royal fathers and mothers as well. Chief host is Mr. Kent Uchie, godfather Chief Executive Officer of Naija FM/TV London.
