Colleagues of ailing veteran actor, Mr. Samuel Oludayo Akinpelu a.k.a. Alabi Yellow, have reached out to him with a huge amount of money for his treatment, Global Excellence can report authoritatively.
The umbrella body of the Yoruba movie practitioners, TAMPAN, led by star actor, Mr. Bolaji Amusan a.k.a. Latin, sources said, sent a delegation to present the undisclosed huge amount to Alabi Yellow in Ikorodu, Lagos home of his aged mother where family members are reportedly caring for him at the moment.
TAMPAN, it is recalled, was earlier criticised after news went viral that it donated a paltry N5,000 to the sick member.
A family member told Global Excellence that Mr. Latin, after the donation, personally called the ailing actor and promised more donations soon.
Alabi Yellow suffered a partial stroke five months ago shortly after the death of his wife.
