Mr Eazi, a well-known Nigerian artist, has lost his mother, Ifeoma Edith Ajibade.
The musician revealed the devastating news on Instagram on Thursday, March 6, along with an emotional tribute and a photo of them together.
He called her his “greatest protector, toughest critic, and truest fan” and thanked her for her love, strength, and sacrifices.
Mr Eazi praised her influence in his life, underlining the characteristics she instilled in him, such as confidence, entrepreneurship, and family devotion.
He wrote, “Thank you, Mummy For your strength, your sacrifices, your unwavering faith. For raising us with love, discipline, and devotion to God. For teaching me confidence, entrepreneurship, forgiveness, and family.
“You were my greatest protector, my toughest critic, and truest Fan.
“You were not perfect, but you were perfect to me. Your legacy lives on. Rest well lfeoma Edith Ajibade.”
