The producer of Davido’s hit single, ‘Assurance’, Obi Prosper, popularly known as SperoachBeatz has revealed that making the beats to Davido’s song which involves putting together the instrumental took him an hour.
The producer revealed this information during his interview with Pulse where he informed all that his relationship with Abuja based producer, GospelOnTheBeatz, is more than friendship or the person who groomed him in the business, they are actually brothers.
In producing “Assurance”, the singer revealed that Davido was the artiste he had in mind and when OBO heard it, he immediately jumped on it. The time he took was due to Davido’s exploits because, “recording for good artiste takes nothing less than 30mins and Davido is definitely a good artiste”, he said.
”I made this beat in one hour, the idea and everything came up in less than one hour and I played it for Peruzzi who took it to Davido and immediately he came in and jumped on it.
”To be very honest, when I was making this beat, the only person in Africa that came to my mind was Davido, I knew he would do justice to it”.
