As the 2019 general election draws nearer, political activities have been gathering momentum and in Oyo State some of the serving lawmakers may not have it smooth as they did in 2015.
One of the areas of interest is Ibadan South East/North East Federal Constituency where Hon. Dapo Lam Adesina is representing in Abuja. The son of the former governor of the state, late Lam has been empowering his constituent’s members and providing basic amenities for communities but in 2019, he is going to slug it out with Hon. Akeem Ademola Ige, a former local government chairman and now member of the state House of Assembly.
Ige, a grassroots politician is gradually warming himself into the hearts of people with his ambition to unseat Dapo from where he currently represents and that is one of the reasons he is working hard to deliver dividends of democracy to his people.
