Come 19th of May 2016, words have it that the troubled Nollywood star actress, Ibinabo Fiberesima, will drag members of her family and loyal friends from across Nigeria for special prayers against her jail sentence, as well as pleading with the Lagos State Government for pardon.
According to a source, the gathering is not being planned to truncate the judicial process but to appeal and plead for mercy and leniency from the authorities for Ibinabo to escape imprisonment.
Recall that Ibinabo reportedly survived breasts cancer after removing lumps from her breast.
Those organizing the event are aimed at begging Governor Ambode to use his good office to intervene on Ibinabo’s behalf, “being a mother and bread winner for her family.”
Ibinabo was sentenced to jail by a law court for killing a Lagos based doctor, Giwa, whose family have been on the search for justice ever since.
