A young man had courted the wrath of Kaduna State governor, Mallam Nasir El-Rufai, when he alleged in a Twitter post that the governor was behind the fire that gutted the state’s INEC office earlier this morning.

Steven Kefas, a Southern Kaduna born dude, had tweeted via his handle @realKefason, that the SIECOM office was on fire and the incident was as a result of desperation by Governor El-Rufai to prevent the local government election in the state on May 12, 2018 from holding.

In a swift reaction to Kefas’ accusation, via his personal Twitter handle, @el-rufai, Governor El-Rufari had tweeted;

“Dear Mr Kefas. This irresponsible and defamatory statement will require a response. So, I hope when you receive (response) from court summons, you will be able to defend your defamation? We are tracing your address for the service of court processes. Help the processes by providing it early.”

Meanwhile, following the governor’s reply, a barrage of comments from followers of both the governor and the young man started pouring in with some condemning Kefas and some hailing his guts, while the majority were commenting in support of the governor.
