Real reasons have emerged why the plans of Oyo State Governor, Seyi Makinde and the embattled members of the Association of Local Government of Nigeria (ALGON) to settled out of court have hit the rocks.

A source in the State ALGON confirmed that the conditions Makinde is giving the sacked Local government chairmen are outrageous and unrealistic.

The source said Makinde’s action is frustrating the process of peaceful resolution of the crisis.

Members of ALGON had alleged that the Governor is trying to bribe and cohort them into surrender their mandates.

The Association advised Makinde to stop intimidating its members and do the needful.

They insisted that their mandate is sacrosanct and amount of intimidation from the Governor or anyone will make them surrender it.
