Billionaire CEO, Tony Elumelu, has revealed that he is very successful today because luck was on his side.
Elumelu who is the Chief Executive Officer of the United Bank of Africa, stated that he is where he is today because luck worked for him.
He however added that he is successful not only because of luck but as a result of his hardwork and labour.
He stated that luck is only an icing on hardwork, which is very essential for someone to be successful.
His words,
“I am where I am today because of luck.
Let me be clear: Luck is important, but it is not a substitute for hard work or labour. Luck is a part of the cocktail that you need for success”.
