Superior Evangelist Joshua B. Abel, the shepherd in charge of Celestial Church of Christ, Imole Kristi Ntan Parish 1 Cathedral, the Great Beraccha located at Egbe, Ikotun, Lagos has urged the leaders creating confusion at Celestial Church of Christ to repent and follow the right path of Saint Rev. S.B.J Oshoffa, the founder of the church rather than factionalising it.

He said this during the 91-Day Crusade of his church.

In a chat with our correspondent, Evangelist Abel who worked as an accountant at Apapa Club for 11 years divulged that God forced Himself on him. “I was forced by God to go into the Ministry.  I lost everything that I had, including two cars, all my properties also perished and I was left with just only one white garment before I eventually agreed to work for Him”.

He started the work of God at CCC in Delta State and later moved to Lagos in 1983 to continue as a revivalist.  Superior Evang. Joshua Abel started the CCC, Imole Kristi Ntan Parish 1 Cathedral 21 years ago.  As a revivalist, he started with 3-day revival,  7-day, 21-day, 31-day, 51-day and 91-day revivals.  The 91-day revival has been a source of miracles because the dead have been raised and many other miracles have come to pass. The revival is now 11 years old.  This year’s revival kicked off on January 30th and will come to an end on April 30th with Pastor Adebamowo ministering on the last day of the revival.  The theme of this year revival is “Be Holy In His Presence”.

On the state of the nation, this great revivalist, Sup. Evang. Abel says “President Buhari needs prayers to succeed and we will not rest on our oars in supporting him with prayers”.  He also commended Lagos State Governor, Mr. Akinwunmi Ambode for his efforts in making Lagos State a mega city and a better place to live for all and sundry”.
