A statistic has revealed that the concrete pole production sector in electricity distribution is contributing over one hundred and fifty billion Naira to the economic growth of our country, this indicates that the sector is not a pushover and that they can do more in the right atmosphere.

This was revealed by the Chairman, Reinforced Pole Producers Association, Engr. Dele Arigbede during a courtesy visit of the association to the Lagos Chamber of Commerce and Industry in Lagos.

He said, the visit, is to familiarize with the workings of Chamber and to create an avenue on the need to encourage and educate our people on the danger of patronizing quack pole producers, since any mistake in the sector is a matter of life and death.

While welcoming the delegation of the association which include the Chairman, Engr. Dele Arigbede, Abel Orji, Pastor Seun Oluwatunmibi, the administrative secretary of the association, Mrs. Odah, to the Chamber on the behalf of the Director General of the Chamber who was in Brazil as at the time of the visit, Mr. Williams Odah, highlighted activities of the Chamber to the association and on the need for them to join the Chamber for better relationship and synergy.

The visit to the Chamber is the continuation of the familiarization tour of the association to establishment and parastatals that related to the pole production across the country, they are expected to visit Nigeria Electricity Management Service Agency in Abuja before the end of the month.
