A Nigerian lawyer has sparked controversy on Twitter after content creator Brain Jotter made Mike Ejeagha’s 1983 song go viral on social media.
The lawyer, known as Egi_nupe_, urged the singer to take legal action against Brain Jotter for using the song without permission, expressing his opinion on his X page.
He wrote: “I hope the man has a good lawyer, you can’t use someone’s song for content raking millions and offer to give the man “2million” as if you are helping the man.”
