When it was exclusively reported that the multi-talented, multi-gifted and spiritually-endowed Prophet ‘Femi Otusanya, popularly known as Omo Majemu (The Covenant Child), was cooking a project via a movie aptly titled Iranse Majemu (Covenant Servant), many took the report with a pinch of salt, saying the project was not feasible and that the man of God, Omo Majemu, was being too ambitious and diving into an unfamiliar river where he can barely swim without encumbrances.  Well, we can tell you authoritatively that the very focused accountant-turned preacher of the word has put all doubting Thomases in their shells.  Barring any unforeseen circumstances and logistics delays, the film, which is already at its final and conclusive editing stage is set for premiering next month, June to be precise, at an all-embracing event that will shake the entire Christendom and movie buffs in Ikorodu and its environs.

Billed to hold at an expansive events centre on the outskirts of Ikorodu, the premiere is already attracting tons of sponsors and participants, just as an attire has also been passing round as the official uniform and gate fee for the day. Dignitaries from different walks of life are also expected to grace the unprecedented event, in appreciation of what God has been doing in the life of this gregarious, articulated and uniquely endowed man of God, Prophet ‘Femi Otusanya, who is the effervescent and upwardly mobile General Overseer of the unblemished and interdenominational ministry known as The True Covenant Church of God, (TCCG) located on the precincts of Ikorodu, Lagos State.

This is yet another side of Omo Majemu, as he has blazed many trails as a versatile and forward-looking pious person, with eschewed dynamism as his core value, all to the glory of God.  Omo Majemu, for your information, is an accountant by training, a prophet by calling and a Yoruba talking drummer, an instrumentalist,  singer, vocalist with a couple of inspirational gospel albums to his credit, and above all, a motivational speaker and convener of an NGO called PYAN.

This is indeed a new dawn for Prophet Festus Olufemi Otusanya as he trudges on majestically in the gospel movie world, without any inhibition or hindrance to his original calling as a Prophet of God, bringing many lost souls back to God through deliverance and power-filled programme.

The flick, “Iranse Majemu” parades an array of top Nollywood acts like Funsho Adeolu, Tunbosun Odunsi, Otunba Awofe Afolayan, Alabi Yellow, Toyin Afolayan (Lola Idije), Tayo Adeniyi, Oyelere Abiodun and a handful of members of the TCCG Drama Troupe, with Omo Majemu himself playing the lead role.

Omo Majemu has indeed shown, by this effort that he is a valuable index in Christendom and does not appear to be relenting.  Watch out for Iranse Majemu on the shelves.  It promises to answer all the questions you may have been looking for answers to, regarding the many intricacies and nuances that surround the true service to God as a servant, as Omo Majemu took time out to expose the idiosyncrasies of many fake prophets around, using the movie to remind unsuspecting and gullible miracle seekers to always look before they leap when in a mad rush to seek salvation.

Iranse Majemu is a must-watch for all Christians and all alike, just as the production is very superb and rich in acoustics and modern day movie techniques.
