Ladi Adebutu Bags Owu Title, Charges PDP To Be Steadfast

House of Representatives member representing Remo Federal constituency in Ogun State, Hon Oladipo Adebutu has charged youths to remain steadfast in ensuring that good leaders emerge during the 2019 general elections.

Adebutu who is also an aspirant to the number one seat in Ogun State gave the charge while addressing his supporters after he was announced as the Omogbadero of Owu Kingdom,  Abeokuta  by the Olowu of Owu Oba Adegboyega Dosumu in Abeokuta.

Adebutu said the only way the youths and other Nigerians could make any impact in 2019 general elections is to ensure that they obtain their permanent voters card.

He urged the party members and his supporters to be steadfast and always work for the progress of the party.

He  promised to support and encourage any party member that can mobilize at least five people to register for their PVC.

Adebutu described Permanent Voters Card as the only power to fight the APC administration.

He also charged youths to take their destiny in their hands, he said Nigerian youths are not Lazy, this is the time for the youth to take charge and change Nigeria to a better place.

Reacting to his installation as Omogbadero of Owu Kingdom,  Adebutu said the monarch has proven that he is a son to him considering the Chieftaincy title he was honoured with.

He said, “It is a matter of great joy today, as we have come to pay our courtesy to our Kabiesi, the Olowu of Owu, we are greatly delighted and surprised as in the monarch’s wisdom, he has given us the title of the ‘Omogbadero of Owu kingdom.

“This title signifies that I am his child as he has said that his friend’s child is his child as well. Baba has honoured the Adebutu family and we appreciate him and I pray that may he live long on the stool of his fathers .”
