Kwara State governor, Alhaji AbdulRahman AbdulRazaq, Friday, ordered the immediate reversal to the national coat of arms as the official logo for the state.
According to the governor’s media spokesman, Mr. Rafiu Ajakaiye, the logo launched by the immediate past administration in Kwara State in 2012, which has Kwara State coat of arms, will no longer be used for official correspondences.
“With immediate effect, the Governor AbdulRahman AbdulRazak’s administration has dropped the Kwara State coat of arms and reverted to the use of the Federal coat of arms,” Ajakaye said in a statement, noting that the secretary to the state government has been mandated to implement the decision.
