Kwara Loses  Former Acting  Khadi

The judicial circle of Kwara State was thrown into mourning mood a few days ago as the news of the death of Justice Sheu Abdul Baki spread. Baki who once acted

as the Grand Kadi of the Shariah Court of Appeal died after a brief illness.  Kwara State governor, AlhajiAbdulfatah Ahmed was among those who commiserated with the family over the sudden and shocking death of the Islamic jurist. The governor described the deceased as a fearless but God-fearing khadi who discharged his responsibilities with modesty and intellectualism.

The late Justice AbdulBaki, according to the governor contributed greatly to Islamic jurisprudence and sustained the legacy of impartiality represented by the shariah court. ‘Justice AbdulBaki would be missed as one of the many justices of Kwara State Shariah Court of Appeal whose judgements stand the test of time.  His service to humanity will be greatly missed.
