Kwara Celebrities Who Will Define Fashion In 2016

They are men and women who are into business, politics and other chosen professions; they are good- looking and fashionable.  While the women are quite elegant and beautiful in their outfits and make heads turn at events, the men are also in their appearances, pleasing to the minds and senses of the babes who naturally inwardly nurse the idea of freely releasing themselves into their arms if requested to do so. In this report, AKINLOLU ABAYOMI writes on celebrities in Kwara State who are fashionable and who are the ones that would dictate the pace in the Kwara fashion space in 2016.

 

Salisu Ahmed-

He is a prominent socialite and a successful legal practitioner from Ile Abojumeji royal family, Ilorin.  Salisu who won the ‘Best Dressed Socialite Award’ in 2005 is one of those that make things happen in the social circle.  He has good fashion sense and would never be seen in outfit that could not launch him on party scenes irrespective of how classy it is.

 

Sherrifat Ameen-  

Daughter of late popular Islamic cleric, Oniwaasi Agbaye  Sherifat is a former banker who is now into property and she dresses well.

 

Otunba Taiye Joseph-

Known for his special branded cap with the words ‘OTJ’, he is the Kwara State Commissioner for Environment. Joseph is fashionable.

 

Senator Gbemisola Saraki-

Amazon of the Saraki’s political dynasty, Gbemisola, we gathered shops from Dubai and regularly wears mixed gold. She dresses well and would never do away with her make-up kits.

He hails from Omu-Aran, he is a popular businessman.

She is the wife of former Irepodun LG PDP chairman. She is also a successful businesswoman.

 

Jumoke Harbs-

The high chief of Ido–Oko Ijesha is one of the best-dressed women in the state. Chief Jumoke Harbs, a celebrity of note is fondly addressed as ‘JMK’, she is the proprietor of Roemiechs International School, and also owns JMK business plaza and Roemiechs event centre. Quite formal and corporate; she is rarely seen in a casual outfit.

 

Baba Wahab Yusuf-

The Ilorin born dude paid his dues in the private sector before veering into the public sector. He was appointed the Chief of Staff to the governor last year. He is also very neat.

 

Gov. Abdul Fatah ahmed-

The best dressed in ex-governor Bukola Saraki’s cabinet, the Share, Ifelodun local government born governor retains status as one of the best dressed celebrities in the state. He dresses fashionably. He complements his outfit with corresponding caps when necessary.

 

Senator Bukola Saraki–

President of the Senate, Dr Bukola Saraki, served as governor of Kwara State for eight years of two terms before moving to the upper chamber of the National Assembly.  Quite fond of putting on native attires, the Turaki of Ilorin looks neat even when he goes casuals. His physique makes what he wears sit very well on him.

 

 

Bode Olayemi-

Igbaja born Bode Olayemi is one of the most qualified as best dressed celebrities, the parameters conveniently favour him. He is ever neat and stylish.

 

Bola Iyadunni Yusuf-

Brainy and beautiful, the highly enterprising Bola is wife of the Kam Industries boss, Alhaji  Kamaldeen Yusuf. Bola also owns Mistufik Enterprises. She creates good time for choice of outfits and would never appear rough. She loves to wear jewelries.

 

Bibire Ajape-   He is an ex -LG boss and former Special Adviser on Transport to Governor Ahmed.  It is not open to debate that Ajape spares good and sufficient time to issues of what he wears; because he has a strict dress code, he appears regularly in white attires, shoes and caps.

Wife of the President of the Senate, Senator Bukola Saraki, Toyin Saraki is the founder of WellBeing Foundation. She is though known for her simplicity; she is ever neat in her appearances.

He is the Alaho of Aho-Gbada, he is regularly in outfits that fits into party settings any day.

Akintoba Fatigun-

Akintoba Fatigun made a good mark in the soft-sell genre before his appointment as Special Assistant Communication and Strategy to Dr Bukola Saraki in 2007. He is currently the Chairman, Ekiti local government. Akintoba also takes good care of his choice of outfits.

 

Oba Rafiu Ajiboye-

He is the Oloro of Oro kingdom; the prominent monarch has good charisma and carries himself well.

 

Ahmed Sambo-

Ilorin born Sambo Ahmed is one of the new breed politicians around; he was a member of the state Electoral Commission and he seldom appears in casual dress.

 

Nelson Oladimeji-

He is the youngest of the Henry George brothers. He always looks cute.

 

Sulaiman Buhari-

Kwara State Publicity Secretary of APC, Buhari is always good to go.
