The fourth edition of Students On The Runway, the creative concept that seeks to provide meaningful platforms to embrace self-employment, is set to hold.
The event is the brainchild of Wise-Plus Concepts in conjunction with NUESSA, UNILAG chapter. The organisers are set to shake the University of Lagos campus with the fourth edition of their visionary programme and this edition is tagged: “Students On The Runway 4”.
The Maiden edition of the event was held on the 14th of March 2015 at the University of Lagos and it was well-attended.
The fourth edition, with focus on students empowerment through scholarship for students to fashion school; beauty/make-up training; as well as bead making skills. It will hold inside the Education Glass House, Faculty of Education, University of Lagos starting with a red carpet session
from 1:30pm.
There will also be a fashion show/seminar which will feature celebrities from different fields. Guests will also be thrilled with performances by known artistes.
Other subsequent activities lined up for the project include a special Road Walk, which will take students on the runway on campaign tour to four different higher institutions.
King of World Beats, King Sunny Ade, will be guest speaker at the 2017 edition.
Also expected to speak are Eniola Salu-Akintunde (Fashion), Bola Awosika (Event Planning), A1 Multimedia (Multimedia).
