Jumoke Bamigboye Becomes First Rotary Female Governor

Former military administrator of Bauchi and Osun states, Colonel Theophilus Bamigboye is in a happy mood.
His wife, Mrs Jumoke Bamigboye  has emerged as   first female Governor of District 9125 of the Rotary Club in  the country.
The District covers 23 states and the Federal Capital Territory Abuja. Her tenure  formally began on Wednesday July 1.
Governor AbdulRahman AbdulRazaq  has also  congratulated her and described her emergence as not just historic but also deserving on account of her sterling contributions to the club and upholding the high principles of service above self over the years.
‘The Governor was very happy about this historic development and he congratulates Mrs Bamigboye for making her family and Kwara State proud. The Governor believes strongly that the position is merited, given her outstanding personal performance in the Rotarian practice of humanitarianism in advancing peace and goodwill around the world in general and Nigeria in particular.
His Excellency assures Madam Governor of his full support as she commences her term as the first ever female Governor of the District’ the governor said.
