The day started with pomp and pageantry as the Umuelem community in Isuochi Abia State was agog with joy at the landmark ceremony marking the commissioning of the water project which was donated to the community by an erudite son of the land Dr. Timothy Chimhurumnaya Ogboruche.
This donation was made under the auspices of the Rev Goodnews Ogboruche Foundation setup with a mandate to carry on the legacy of goodwill, love and care laid by the Retired Rev. Goodnews Ogboruche, the father of Dr. Timothy Ogboruche.
This project which was well received by the community that had been hitherto fraught with the issue of accessing potable drinking water owing to the poor land composition in that part of eastern Nigeria was commissioned by the Local Government Chairman, Hon Dr. Matthew Ibeh in the presence of notable dignitaries like Dr. Chris Odinaka Igwe( Chrisnak), Engr.Caleb Ogboruche (Cee2Cee Global) , and other notable dignitaries in attendance.
It can be noted as well that in the same vein, electrical power was connected to the village for the first time ever. This was spearheaded and made possible by Dr. Timothy Ogboruche.
While speaking about the project , Dr Timothy C. Ogboruche, a seasoned entrepreneur, business consultant, leadership expert, motivational speaker and a geologist by training who is the CEO of Tehila Integrated Services Limited, the parent company for Tehila Sounds and Tehila Records which specializes in providing premium Pro Sound/ multimedia technology solution said “Today is really a humbling one for me as the commisiong of this project is very close to my heart. It helps me carry on the legacy of my Father Rev Goodnews Ogboruche and to bring goodwill to my people. I will not hesitate to keep making impact in my community and beyond God willing”.
