“I’ve No Link With Badoo Cultists” …Ogun Politician, Oduniyi Adelaja Dispels Rumour

The All Progressives Congress, APC consensus candidate in Ijebu North, Constituency II, Oduniyi Adelaja has debunked claims linking him with the dreaded Badoo cultists.

 

In a statement signed by the Ogun House of Assembly hopeful, he said the statement made by the group named ‘Concerned Indigenes of Ijebu North (diaspora)’ is nothing but a malicious one, made by faceless group, who are being sponsored in proxy.

 

Oduniyi Adelaja described the report as one being sponsored by his opponent, who has lost the people’s favour in the face of the consensus agreement. He said the aforementioned issue linking him with the Badoo terrorists, has no relationship with neither his person nor his hotel.

 

The lawmaker in embryo disclosed that the ousted terrorists, who have been terrorizing people around Ikorodu were linked with some hotels around Ikorodu. He disclosed that some reputable hoteliers around Ikorodu were just invited and advised to be sensitive to their environment, in case the terrorists patronize their hotels and were told to report such cases to the Police.

 

“My attention has been drawn to the statement by the faceless group, with fictitious names and no address. The group allegedly linked me with some terrorists that have been ousted by the Inspector general of Police Tactical Team. There is no doubt, this is the handwork of my political opponent. The terrorists have been arrested and convicted. I have been vindicated and I have no relationship with the terrorists. These allegations were made by sponsored fictitious group with no valid address or valid identity. We are on the look-out for the people behind this, the law would take its cause on the defamation of character. The case has been reported to the law enforcement authority and I believe they will investigate and bring persons behind this to book.” Oduniyi Adelaja added.

 

Adelaja however challenge anybody with evidence against him to hit the public space with such evidence. He described the allegations watery and lacks substance.

 

Oduniyi Adelaja urged his supporters to be calm and determined in the mission to attain victory in his aspiration to represent Ijebu North, Constituency II at the Ogun State House of Assembly come 2019. He further implored his fans and loyalists to ignore rumours, false accusations and allegations that are targeted at pulling down his political aspirations.
