Isaac Fayose

You are one of the recognized internet influencers, are you doing it for just cruising or you also like having the money?

I enjoy doing it for free.

Due to your no-holds-barred style, most of your online posts usually stir controversy. How do you feel when people misjudge your intents?

I really don’t care what people say when I do my postings. I am just saying what is in my mind.

You’re a successful businessman and entrepreneur. Please, tell us about yourself as a businessman.

To the glory of God, I own so many businesses. I export African foods. I also own farms and hotels in Nigeria and Rwanda, while I am into real estate business and own eateries also in Nigeria.

Some people actually think that you started making headlines when your older brother, Mr. Ayodele Fayose, was governor. Is that correct, and did you make your money at that period?

I didn’t make my money off my brother. I made my money doing business in the Republic of Ireland and the United Kingdom. I own eateries like I said earlier and I own phone shops back from the 90s in the UK and Ireland.

Do you agree with those who think the Fayoses are naturally stubborn and difficult to be swayed from a cause they believe in?

They are right. We are very stubborn in our family (laughter).

As an entrepreneur, how would you advise the Nigerian youths regarding ways to navigate through the unemployment challenge?

Government should empower entrepreneurs. If they do so, entrepreneurs can then be able to employ more youths.

You used to be the spotlight at most social clubs and parties; you seem to have slowed down. Is that correct, and why?

That’s correct. I have slowed down due to age and because time does not permit me now. I don’t go out as much as when I was younger.

You have a new amala spot in Abuja, tell us more about it, especially because service at the restaurant comes with free food.

We have just opened ‘247 Hot Amala’ in Abuja. Yes, we provide free food for the needy.

Tell us about your beautiful family and where do you enjoy vacationing with them.

I am married with two wives. I create time to visit my family and we create time for pleasures too. I love my family.

What is your honest assessment of the Bola Tinubu federal government and governance at the state and local government levels?

President Tinubu is trying his best. But there’s room for improvements. He needs our support. Thank you.
