The former Oyo State Governor, Alao Akala has come out of his shell to reveal the reason why he left the All Progressives Congress, APC

At a recent function, Alao revealed that it is not because of the APC failure to give his son the Deputy Governor ticket or Senate ticket that made him to excuse himself from the party but failure of the incumbent Governor, Abiola Ajimobi to honour their agreement.

Akala said being a big figure in Oyo State he has the capacity to win the governorship seat under another political platform without the support of Ajimobi.

Also, a group from Oke Ogun said the electorate should not trust the Ibadan people again. They also said that their fathers should not because of peanuts vote for Ibadan person again.

The group stated that Akala should be allowed to rule the state as the eight years of Ibadan people has brought nothing to them in Oke Ogun.
