“I Could Have Died In Orka’s Coup” …Prophet Adedokun Oluwasegun

Apart from Sunday service which commences between the hour of 9.30am and 12.00noon, Early Monday Morning with Jesus, every Monday between 6.30am and 7.30am, an interdenominational powerful programme draws lovers of prayers, miracle and salvation seekers to God at 20 LAWMA Road, Ewu Elepe, Ikorodu, Lagos, where Prophet Pastor Adedokun Olusegun Phillip, the General Overseer of Jesus Power and His Glory Healing And Deliverance Ministry holds sway as the minister in charge and his wife, Lady Evang. Abosede Adedokun.  All the worshippers do is to acknowledge God, praise and worship Him as well and present their requests to God in serious, fervent and focused prayers.  The beauty of it is that the Lord is there to answer their prayers swiftly. Speaking in a brief chat with GCN, Prophet Adedokun said it was a confirmation of God’s covenant with the establishment of the church. “Since we started this ministry, it was God’s assurance to help us and He has been confirming His word, people gather here for prayers, we pray together, there are sessions of intercessions, there are deliverance and participants receive miracles with signs and wonders, and there have been many testimonies”. A military personnel, Prophet Adedokun who traced his ministerial journey to CAC, Agbara Olorun Kii Baati but now Power Pentecostal Church within Okota, Layout in Lagos said his own ministry took off as a house fellowship at Ikeja Military Cantonment, Maryland, Lagos, where God healed a lot of military personnel, raised the dead and healed HIV victims in 1997.  After he left the cantonment, Jesus Power and His Glory Healing and Deliverance Ministry started fully in July, 2008.  In 2009, the ministry moved fully into her permanent site in Ikorodu, Lagos, with branches scattered around Lagos and Ogun States. On how he received the call to work for God, this accurate seer whose many predictions like that of Orka’s Coup, APC reigns, Boko Haram emergency, to mention but a few have come to pass said “I was resting on a 3- seater chair when I saw the vision of a big hand pouring anointing oil on my head through a big jar.  I tried to see the person but could not open my eyes but I later heard a voice that said “it’s the King of kings and Lord of lords that’s anointing me for His work”. While seeking for knowledge to get equipped with God’s work, he enrolled at Christ Message Ministry Bible College for three years.  He proceeded to Pentecost Deliverance School at Ijesha, Lagos.  Thereafter, Prophet Adedokun co-founded Jesus Army Prayer Ministry with Pastor Oyewole Michael, Pastor Ologun, Pastor Oyebanji, Pastor Kayode among others before God called him to start his own ministry.  “I heard the voice of God through mind, dreams, word of knowledge, hearing and vision”.  Jesus Power and His Glory Healing and Deliverance Ministries just completed a 21-day power-packed revival/vigil with theme “Recovery of Glory”. It started 1st July and ended 21st July.

Spirit-filled and vibrant fire branded Prophet Adedokun who has traces of God’s word in his blood was born of a CAC Pastor.  His father started the first CAC in his hometown Abalabi via Ifo in Ewekoro Local Government Area in Ogun State in 1949.

“My mentors are Dr. D. K. Olukoya of MFM, Prophet Raphael Oluwalana, (Ori Oke Sangunje) among others”, Prophet Adedokun revealed.
