Legendary Nigerian midfielder, Oliseh Sunday, narrowly escaped being hit when bombs exploded in Borussia, Dortmund on Tuesday, 11th of April, 2017.
Three bombs reportedly exploded near the club’s team bus Tuesday tonight, ahead of a key Champions League match against Monaco.
Defender Marc Bartra sustained injuries in the blast and was rushed to the hospital for treatment.
And now the side’s hotel is on lockdown, according to German newspaper Die Welt.
Meanwhile, the Nigeria’s Super Eagle former head coach, Oliseh, reportedly tweeted last night;
“Thank God! I Was just 200 meters from the Dortmund stadium when D bombs struck Dortmund team Bus! Really Scary day but grateful to be safe!”
Oliseh, 42, currently manages Dutch club Fortuna Sittard where he had signed an 18-month contract last year after leaving the Nigerian Super Eagles headship.
