‘Every beginning must have an end’ Kwara State governor, Alhaji Abdulfatah Ahmed penultimate week dissolved the State Executive Council with effect from Wednesday, 22nd May 2019. In a statement issued in Ilorin by the Deputy Chief Press Secretary to the governor, who is a civil servant, Mr. Demola Olanrewaju, Special Advisers, Senior Special Assistants, Special Assistants, and members of the boards of parastatals were asked to also join the commissioners and the Special Advisers to say goodbye to the seats some among them have occupied since 2011. The statement quoted Governor Ahmed as thanking members of the dissolved state executive council, his former aides and all other political office holders for their invaluable contributions to the success of his administration and also wished them all the best in their future endeavors.
