Governor Abdulrahman Abdulrazaq has consolidated his position and he has got placed in firm control of Kwara State when it comes to politics.
APC had won all elective positions in Kwara State in 2019 and in the elections held on February 25 and March 18 2023, the ruling APC also won all elective seats in the state leaving only one seat for the PDP in the state house of assembly.
It was also an election that had the governor sending the Minister of State for Transportation, Hajia Gbemisola Saraki, Minister of Information, Alhaji Lai Muhammed, Akogun Iyiola Oyedepo and others on political retirement.
He has not only won re-election but also taken total control of the state.
