Ghanaian singer, Shatta Wale is out to blast Nigerian superstar boy, Wizkid, stating that he doesn’t consider the Ojuelegba crooner as African superstar.

The statement was made in a video posted on YouTube 15th November where the Ghanaian dancehall artiste spoke profusely against Wizkid and his supposed fake life.

According to Shatta Wale, Wizkid is not as real as he’d like people to believe him to be, unlike his contemporary, Davido, who Shatta Wale refers to as being real alongside the likes of Burna Boy and Dammy Krane.

The Ghanaian star revealed that he had mentioned in an interview, (an interview he had with KasapaFM) that he doesn’t see anything extraordinary about Wizkid, an opinion which is contrary to many of his colleagues who feel otherwise.  Apparently, his opinion didn’t go well with some people and that prompted this new video.

Although Shatta Wale agreed that Wizkid is a good singer who is on his way to greatness, he doesn’t believe the Nigerian singer is already great as he uses hype men most of the time. But even if Wizkid is great, his greatness will not benefit him, Shatta Wale, hence he feels everyone should let him have his opinion of Wizkid in peace.

Also, following his tirade on Wizkid and Nigerians; Shatta Wale found another target in Timaya. The Ghanaian Dance hall artiste was recently challenged on twitter. A Twitter user satirically asked Shatta Wale;

“who knows you as dance hall? …Timaya number one artist shooting all the whole of Caribbean country…”

In response, Shatta Wale blasted Timaya with a tweet which read;

“stop this poultry farm nonsense before I use you for Indomie and chicken wings. Tell Timaya to come to Ghana and see what’s dancehall and stop that nonsense u ppl call dancehall…it’s a shame u hv an artiste like timaya. He shd hv still sold his plantain chips. Mumu”

Shatta Wale also went further to call out Nigerians to stop believing that their artistes are bigger and better than Ghanaian artistes because that according to him is not true and unlike Nigerian artistes, Ghanaian artistes help Nigerian artistes rise to stardom. He concluded by threatening Nigerians, saying that if they continue to believe their artistes are bigger than Ghanaian artistes, he’ll stop Nigerian artistes from coming to perform in Ghana, after all, Nigerians don’t invite Ghanaian artistes  to perform in Nigeria.
