General Olayemi Lasisi Abidoye Turns  68

Retired Major-General Olayemi Lasisi Abidoye turned 68 penultimate week.

Abidoye is currently the President of the popular Omu-Aran Development Association (ODA).

Governor AbdulRahman AbdulRazaq who  felicitated  with the retired General also called  him one of Nigeria’s finest officers whose contributions to peacekeeping missions remain a reference point in global humanitarian circles.

‘I join the rest of our state, especially the Omu Aran community to celebrate retired Major-General Abidoye on this joyous occasion of his 68th birthday anniversary.

Hardworking, disciplined, cerebral and kindhearted, he has been a man of the people whose retirement is being spent in the service to humanity, especially the Omu-Aran community where he is currently the President of the popular Omu-Aran Development Association (ODA).

On behalf of the people and government of Kwara State, I felicitate the General, his immediate family and the entire Omu-Aran community under his Royal Highness the Olomu of Omu-Aran, Oba Abdulraheem Oladele Adeoti on this occasion. I pray the Almighty God to grant the Liberian war veteran more rewarding years in good health’, the governor said.
