Barely three months after the death of his close friend, Nomoreloss, music producer extraordinaire, OJB Jezereel, reportedly died in the early hours of today, Tuesday 14th of June 2016.
According to reports, the veteran producer’s kidney failed a few weeks ago and his family has had to keep him on a dialysis which cost them N35, 000 every week.
Nomoreloss, equally a popular singer and OJB’s close pal, died on Monday, March 21, eleven weeks ahead. It was Nomoreloss, three years ago, who championed the fund raising campaign that save OJB from dying of a threatening heart ailment.
Then, precisely in July 2013, OJB had raised the public alarm that his two kidneys had stopped working, leaving him with just few weeks to treat it or succumb to death.
While the public was still grappling with the shocking revelation from OJB, Nomoreloss, like the true friend that he really was, took up the gauntlet by raising and leading a rescue team tagged ‘OJB Donation Committee’ which succeeded in raising the sum of $100, 000 that was used to treat OJB in an Indian hospital.
Friends said at the time that, Nomoreloss was one of the reasons OJB lived.
Sadly, Nomoreloss died on March 21, 2016, while OJB also died on June 14th 2016.
Some friends who spoke to us said that they saw a divine contact in the music giants’ passage.
