Former IG MD Abubakar, Kwara Deputy Gov, Others Attend Funeral Of Ilorin  Female Celebrity Lola Olobayo

A popular female celebrity in Kwara State, Mrs Lola Olobayo has been
buried in Ilorin.
Service of songs was held   at the M & M Events Centre,  Offa
Road,  Ilorin  on Thursday 9th September 2021 while funeral service
was held at the  U.M.C.A Chapel, Tanke, Ilorin on  Friday 10th
September 2021.
Former Inspector General of Police, Alhaji Mohammed Abubakar,
Kwara State Deputy Governor, Mr. Kayode Alabi, former SSG ,Isiaka
Gold were among dignitaries that attended the funeral ceremony.
Lola, daughter of business mogul, Chief Samuel Adedoyin died last
month.   The top female celebrity who breathed her last at a hospital in
Lagos died of COVID-19 complications.
Her husband, Prince John Olobayo is a popular businessman in Kwara
State.

Lola’s sister, Funke, who was then a member of the House of
Representatives had  also died in  September  2018.
Though born with a silver spoon in her mouth, Lola was a
workaholic and as Executive Director, Sales and Marketing of the Global
Soap and Detergent company, Ilorin, she was the brain behind the
success  of  Doyin Group of Companies.
She was also a force to reckon with when it involves Kwara State social
scene; her friends are the bigwigs who have continued to dictate the
pace there.
Lola was the owner of the popular Gomola Fast Foods and Gomola
Supermarket on Unity  Road, Ilorin.

She  regularly attended events along with Chief Mrs. Jumoke Harbs,
Erelu Iyadunni Bola Yusuf, wife of revenue generation consultant,
Otunba Olushola Adekanola, Oreyemi and others.
Subomi, her eldest son died three months ago  at   28.
