Former President of the Ilorin Emirate Descendants Progressive Union (IEDPU) Alhaji Abdullahi Atanda Atuma is dead.
The easy going chap gave up the ghost penultimate week.
Governor AbdulRahman AbdulRazaq who is a prominent son of Ilorin has condoled with sons and daughters of Ilorin on the death of the late community leader.
Governor AbdulRazaq in a statement by his Chief Press Secretary Rafiu Ajakaye prayed for the repose of the soul of the former IEDPU leader.
‘His Excellency commiserates with His Royal Highness the Emir of Ilorin Dr Ibrahim Sulu-Gambari, the leadership of the IEDPU, and the immediate family of the late statesman who no doubt gave his all in the service of the Emirate
The Governor prayed the Almighty Allah to grant Alhaji Atuma Al-Jannah Firdaus and give the family the fortitude to bear the loss’ he said
