Former Minister of Aviation, Femi Fani-Kayode, has declared that any attempt to remove President Bola Ahmed Tinubu from office in 2027 will be met with a “massive tsunami of divine retribution.”

In a strongly worded statement posted on his official X handle on Wednesday, Fani-Kayode invoked biblical scriptures, insisting that those plotting against Tinubu’s second term will be scattered and crushed by what he described as the “East Wind of destruction.”
Quoting from the Bible, the All Progressives Congress (APC) chieftain said: “Surely they shall gather but it shall not be of me. Whosoever gathers against thee shall be scattered for thy sake!”
He added that opponents of Tinubu’s administration were nurturing “lofty dreams and vain ambitions” which, he claimed, would “melt away like an iceberg approaching the tropics.”
“The Sword of the Lord shall cut them down and the Lord of Hosts shall dash them to pieces,” he wrote.
“Nothing can stop the wind of reformation and change that is blowing through our great country. Nothing can prevent the Finger of God from achieving His purpose. Nothing can stop us from getting to the Promised Land,” he added.
Fani-Kayode maintained that President Tinubu’s “Renewed Hope” agenda had come to stay, projecting that the government’s reforms would reach full manifestation by 2031.
“To God be the glory: there is no turning back,” he declared.
The former minister’s remarks come amid increasing political debates and speculation over the 2027 presidential election, with opposition voices positioning themselves for a challenge.
